Experience in Waste Administration and the Background of Creating This Site

The operator worked at Kumamoto City Hall from 2012 to 2020, and was involved in operations in the Environment Squad of the Community Development Promotion Division at the Chuo Ward Office.

Main duties included distributing garbage calendars, assisting with the installation of garbage stations, and responding to inquiries from citizens.

At the counter and over the phone, I received thousands of inquiries related to garbage disposal, such as "I don't know which garbage calendar applies to my address" and "I want to check the sorting method and collection days right now."

From this experience, I felt that there might be even more people struggling with garbage disposal, including those who do not contact the government office.

Therefore, I created this site with the idea of making it easy to check the contents of inquiries received at the government office counter over the internet.

In addition, I served as the representative of the Kumamoto team of the Specified Non-Profit Corporation green bird, which conducts local cleanup activities, from 2017 to 2019, and have been involved in environmental activities in the city from the standpoint of a private volunteer.

Leveraging experiences in both the administrative field and community activities, I operate this site with the goal of "reducing the number of people who struggle with garbage disposal even a little."
